Michigan Natural Edge Cherry Burl!

This Cherry Burl is from here in Michigan. I love to turn burls, the grain is always spectacular!

A burl is the knot in the tree.

Breakfast!

As we were sitting having breakfast this squirrel came in for some sunflower seeds. Then our dog (Ursa) and cat (Morris) went nuts because they wanted him for breakfast.

Hurray! our snow is melting and the sun is out, at least for right now.
